I think around here they're about 15 bucks + rentals if needed. search google for "rock climbing gym" Go to the web pages that are returned and check their prices.

I think the average is anywhere from $10 to $15. Rentals are normally extra.

$7.50 if you need shoes and a harness and stuff $5 if you dont need anything. Its an all day pass and its like 15K square feet of gym.
Not a bad deal in my opinion.

$3-5 at the community center and $25 for a year pass at the campus gym if you are a student. Another privately owned place is $9 for routes and $6 for bouldering. Plus more for rentals. I don't see how they stay in business. I know I am cheap but $9 for routes and some of you are saying $14, there is no way I would climb there regularly...or even at all.

The climbing gym here is $14. The bouldering gym is $10 your first visit, and $14 every visit afterwards. Thankfully they only charge $40 a month.

My gym charges $14 for day pass, $11 for student day pass and $8 for bouldering. The full memberships are very expensive.

I think harness rental is $3, shoe rental $3 and atc/biner rental $1... maybe? Something like that.

Ours is 10 bucks for a day pass plus gear rental (but who that reads this site still rents gear?).

Of course, none of us go on any days but Monday or Wednesday... college night is 5 bucks.

My gym has some pretty great programs for newbies, but day passes are $10 plus rentals for the summer. Not sure what it'll go back to in the fall. It's mainly a bouldering gym with the south location having longer routes. Annual memberships are $40 a month or you can do one and three month memberships as well.

$11, I think. I do 3 months at a time, so it averages out to less per trip for me. Rentals extra.

In New Orleans I remember it being $10 for the day pass, gear extra.

They are opening up a gym here in Little Rock and it looks like it too will be $10 for a day pass.

day pass 10$ +gear if u dont have ur own...

belay test 2$ - if u already know how
belay class 10$ - if u need 2 learn

either way ur name gets put in the comp and depending on how often u come u r judged whether or not u need a recert...for example...if ur there pretty often, they know u and know that u know what ur doin cuz u do it say 2 times a week or whatever it may be...if htey have to ask u if u ve been there b4 they ll look u up in hte comp and c when u were there last and then judge if u need a recert or not...its up to them.

but yo...check out this previous thread....

Rock on!!

Pacific Edge, Santa Cruz, Ca: $14 for a day pass (climbing or bouldering)

It's a really nice gym, though. It's got like 50-foot high lead walls.
