Since theres no close rock, or gyms where I live I am building a wall to train on during the week. This is a fairly new thing for me as i have only been on plastic twice. I finally have the design ironed out, but am having trouble with one key thing, the holds. From what I have read, the synrock holds look like they would be sweet, but I can't find much unbiased info on them. Have any of you used them? Do you like other holds better. I'm not looking for just what your favorites are, but also why they are your favorite ie. friction, feel, durability, shape, ect. Thanks in advance!

I havn't built a wall, but I climb indoors a lot (It's called the ohio curse). Just get a variety. You can even make your own holds out of wood. Some of those turn out pretty interesting.

variety = good.

you also might want to try finding some real rock and drilling and bolting those on. i've seen some pretty cool holds that way.
