My idea of the ulitmate climbing gym would be to have vast space, new routes and of course the good looking redbull sponsors handing out energy drinks and a all-you-can-eat crackers and cheese buffet. what do you all think the perfect gym would consist of?

take real rock and put it inside so you could climb in all weathers. Cheerleaders in bikinis. A slope that extended out over a pool you could climb. Electro shock therapy when you use a hold off the route. Gatorade instead of Red-bull. A buffet. Cash at the top of the routes. I guess that's about it. Oh a killer sound system with a gym that actually took acoustics into account.

the ultimate climbing gym would have 10,000 square feet of highball bouldering with super plush pads underneath. The bouldering area would vary in degree of overhang and all boulder problems would have top outs. There would be 150 foot vaulted ceilings, and every route would be leadable. The walls would be stripped and reset every 3 weeks by pro climbers and they'd have a pro shop selling gear at cost because they love their members that much. They'd have a 45 degree wall that slowly became one with the ceiling allowing those with the strength and endurance to climb 150 feet off the deck on the ceiling. They would also design their own holds just to be original. Also every friday would be ladies night. They would also have a bar stocked with newcastle and bass along with a large screen plasma television which plays rad climbing videos 24/7. They would have a slammin sound system, and they'd remain open until 2 a.m. on weekends, midnight on weekdays.

I'm going to have to disagree with the cheerleaders in bikinis thing. I think a large part of the appeal of cheerleaders is those SEXY little skirts they wear. So I say, an extremely large bouldering area with at least 10 new moderately hard problems a week, a huge lead area with people there just to belay me, cheerleaders in bikini TOPS and skirts, people from a massage school giving out free hour long massages, and some killer mexican or chinese or indian food next door with a 50% discount for climbers.
