Has anybody seen this stuff? They have a humongus hangboard they sell, and this kinda novel (i guess..) idea of a virtual woodie. They get people all across the world to put up the same woodie, and use thier holds, and then use this coordinate system to set problems. Or if you set your own you can add it to the archives. I dunno check it out. I might just be critical but I kinda think its pushing it, Im not sure how many people would buy into it.......

wow that board is huge and expensive too.

it seems to me that alot of people are buying to the idea! judging by the amount of people submitting routes into it.

I think it is a pretty good idea for those who have no clue how to set a route and want to be able t ohaev someone tell them exactly how!

overal it seems cool to me

the fingerboard looks really good.

as for the woody idea, its a good idea. just two problems with it. its small (but you cant have big sometimes) and it uses a square matrix for the tnut. i hate that. i prefer random hold placement, or at leas one that seems so.

i agree it is pretty small but for someone with limited space then it would be perfect i too like it to be a bit more random

I think the virtual woodie is actually pretty good idea. They have a collection of problems which you can just put up and give a shot. I don't know if it is possible, but you could create your own problems and post them for others to try. It is a pretty good idea they have there with an online database of boulder problems.
