Wow, you gotta draw a better picture. More info would help as well. Like is this in a basement? Meaning...are there exposed wall/ceiling studs???

That ??PIC?? doesn't really make sense. Try drawing one and linking it to the post. That will work a lot better.

I think I built what you mean as part of my wall. See below picture on the left hand side. Is this what you mean?

dude, you need to spell out a little more for us. such as ..

where is the wall going - will it be attached to the room its in or freestanding?

how tall are you talking about? you mentioned 8x6, but that's only two dimensions - real objects such as climbing walls are 3D . do you mean eight feet tall by six wide?. and it's easier to build walls that follow the sizes of the plywood - like 8x4.

this won't be hard for you to make, but before anyone can advise you, provide more info.

Thanx for all the help guys,
the answer is yeas its attached to a wall and i want it about 2.5-3 feet out.
The measurements is 8x4 like a regular peice of plywood for the backing...
Im about 6 foot and i wanna start the climbing on my back, i guess or if anyne knows another option..... and i want to have holds on all visible sides!

do you have access to the wall studs?if you do this should be an easy job for ya. If it's a brick wall you'll need masonry anchors to attach a couple backing boards to. then you'd build out from there.
