man pushers renamed company "revolution climbing looks like crap. i am dissapointed that they chose a brand like that. does anybody like seeing guns all over shirts. isn't there enough guns and negative imagery around these days to have a climbing hold and gear company to make it their image. and what is with their holds jumping in price about 60%. "the boss hold", under font huge, when it was a pusher hold it was $49 and now it is $79. what the he!! they must have some balls to make themselves out to be a company with an abrasive image and overpriced products. if pusher, s7, and cordless lost their place in the market and lost money how is this new company with an abrasive marketing strategy going to make it any better. i would feel completely different if thier company didnt promote this image of "violent revolution" red, black, harsh, guns, takeover. it would be cool if it were a revolution of a different kind. sure it is susposed to be a revolution of bouldering products but why do they take this approach. it just doesnt seem right to me. i dont remember taking an A.K.47 or an uzi to my favorite projects. anybody feel the same?

I went to the site not too long after it launched, and to be perfectly frank, I didn't see anything "revolutionary" there. Just another company trying to be "cool" and project a "we're a bunch of bad a$$e$" image to the younger crowd who are trying to project the same corporate-generated image as their friends. As far as I could tell, it was the same company as before, just more abrasive and more expensive. :? :P

I find it very revolutionary that they don't have pics posted for most of their merchandise! What a great marketing plan!

i just wrote them. i hope they feel stupid because they have chosen a stupid marketing strategy. if you have written them an email, post it, i want to hear how they can justify all this stuff. pusher was cool because they were a big successful company, i guess. i think they try to make themselves out to be the best. fact is they made their holds out of the cheapest plastic, with the cheapest fillers. i would tell you how much money they made off each hold but it would piss you off because it is kinda selfish to have that much of a profit %. they went under probably because they never came up with new stuff for years. their good shapes were all that carried them. this revolution seems like a sad attempt to make more money than ever that will never go.
