i am starting work in the capital this month as well. as far as i know there are only two gym possibilities in bangkok. one is in big c ladprao, a four faced pillar in the middle of the mall--i have been and the iranian guy who runs it is very helpful and will belay if solo. the other wall i haven't been--the racquet club sukhumvit soi 49. their website is http://www.rqclub.com/contact.htm i am looking for climbing partners--don't climb hard and coming off of a five month hiatus having broken my leg late fall 2009. have gear for outside minus rope (so just draws).

sorry no gear either, but if you know of any gear shops and know someone with a rope, i'd be down to go climbing for a bit. my hiatus is a little longer than yours, so i will probably suck very bad, if it doesn't bother you. haha
