Yeah, that's probably a bad idea. Maybe if it was an after hours party thing. But if it's a loud band...and you have people on rope...that just spells disaster. Know what I'm saying?

What about live DJ's? Oh, and disco lights, glow sticks and soothers! Ok, maybe not.

There are speakers in the upper corners of the gym I go to. Music can pump you up if you like what is playing.

You can hang in the center one of those balls with tiny mirrors from the seventies. People can dance in colorful cages hanging also from the ceiling. And the couples will make romantic trips to the bouldering cave, where light would be dim. I think is a great idea. I am not sure if as a business, but you can have some fun.

In my country some gyms play music, but I wouldn't like 'live' music, 'cause it would distract people too much and maybe attracting people that are not even interested in climbing.

If you had a live band, people would be dancing or moshing, they would not be climbing. If you had karoke...no wait....thats just stupid!

I wouldn't advise a live band for climbing.....but how about having a slide show like once a week, you can have a band or live dj and just create a good atmosphere. P.S. Talk to local microbrewerys they almost always donate their product for some thing like a slide show.
