im makin a wall and i want to lead on it. But seeing as its a woodie if i were to fall the wood would break and I'd go falling. so would i put some 2x4's flat on the plywood and screwed to the 2'4s to spread out the force of the fall> or can i even do it? just wondering b/c iwant to do it bad style to the maximile?

When we did the one at the gym we secured the bolt hanger to a sheet of steel in the back of the plywood.....the bigger the better....more force distrobution

I simply screwed the lead bolts into the 2x4's to make the structure....But them in fairly shot succesion so that if you don't fall your not falling more than 5 feet on them...Also use a long and pretty thick screw to spread out the impact...don't want the screw schering off...
