If you would like to write Shawn and encourage him; Shawn Snyder 13525-A2 Mono County Jail P.O. Box 697 Bridge Port, CA. 93517 I want to do an article on his slacklining in the August newsletter (Letter From M.O.M.). Any input would be helpful. www.MovingOnMinistry.com Chaplain Bob

Maybe he thought that was a good way to warm up his car before driving her home.

What's up with that? Because it's public information. It was also online from one of the local newspapers in either Bishop or Mammoth areas. I like Sean, but he has some very serious problems. I think he is gonna do some real time. I hope he gets the help he needs while he's there. Best of luck to him.

Well I've met up with shawn a few times, seems like a pretty cool guy, until now. Turns out I also know the climber guy who shawn stole all of his gear; rack, backpacks, sleeping bag, ropes and more, was also a cool east side climber too. He is still missing gear. So the more people that know about shawn the more likely this guy might get his gear back... What would you do to someone that ripped off all of your gear??

"Metolius Shawn" is known by another nickname in Mammoth Lakes- Shitbag Snyder. In the summer of 2006, He and I were randomly offered a job together sweeping the chimneys for 86 condos. We were getting paid 25 bucks an hour and it should have taken 3 days but we did it in two. Shawn went on the roof and was supposed to take the cap off every chimney and run a brush through it while I was inside vacuuming up all the soot. Turns out he didn't even take the cap off most of the chimneys. He would just tap it so some stuff would fall down. He wanted to make a quick buck I guess so we got 400 each and he split town. The guy who hired us had to go back and do all of those condos over by himself and lost the contract for that complex. I remember Shawn saying he'd do anything to never have to go back to jail. Now to hear that he got locked up for stealing somebody's climbing gear makes me want to kick him in the nuts all over again.

I can speak from experience when I say Mono County Jail is a walk in the park. He won't be getting any @ssrammings there... unless he requests them.

This is the problem with the dirtbag attitude of "I'll just mooch of society". It hurts others, and they have to pick up the slack for YOU. Don't be a dirtbag kiddies.
