I can walk the line pretty good now, but I can't figure out how to turn. I have been working on it for quite a while now, and I just can't seem to find it. Could someone give me a walkthrough of what I should be doing?

Ok, I have a really simple "first turn" way. It's really hard to describe in words but this might help: Try just piviting your feet, don't take steps while trying to turn. Keep your hips centered. T your feet, I use my front foot parallel to the line and then turn, switching the T's direction (put your heel to the middle-inside of your other foot and then spread your stance a little). Turn nice and steady don't try and do it quick. Also, remember the recovery trick.... slightly drop your hips and throw your fingers in the air. It works. You'll get it. Cheers, Ammon

One thing that helped me when I first started trying to turn, is to remember to look at the end of the line... Amons T method is how things eventually worked out for me. So, for me, it is front foot parallel with the line, back foot perpendicular, turn my head, and focus on the other end of the line, and everything else follows.

Another item to keep in mind is body posture. It's important to keep your upper body in a straight line and not bent over. It helps if you imagine a string holding your head directly above the line as you pivot. If you bend over, you actually send a wave down the line and will find yourself struggling to maintain balance. Relaxed shoulders help as well.
