Usually see a lot of people using towels and such, so I was just curious how many people place protection on trees?

definitely, even if its just my t-shirt. Only exception is if its random location that is never going to see another line, in which case i usually dont.

You bet,
It make for a much better experience overall. No matter where Iam at there is always some tree hugger that comes over to gripe that slacklining is killing the trees. But they tend to be alright with a few layers of flannel cloth to protect the trees.

Yeah, unless I forget to bring a towel or whatever and there is nothing around.

I usually slack at the same place in the park, so we almost always protect the trees since they get so much abuse.
