Maybe some useful info. (or maybe it has been covered before). My girlfriend Jacklyn and I have been slacking through the winter here in Colorado. No problem with the cold for me because I have always slacked in gym shoes. (I have had plantar fasciitis injuries in the past so I need the arch suport). Jacklyn slacks in bare feet, she can't stand to slack in shoes or sandals. But her feet got so cold so it took all the fun out of it. She recently tried slacking in Oniell neoprene tropical 2mm split toe surfing booties and she loves them. She can feel the line just as well and the booties even provide a little more grip for her, and her feet are toasty warm. I'm guessing neoprene booties made for rafting would not be nearly as good because they have a substantial sole, the surfing booties are made to supposedly "feel" a surfboard just as good as bare feet. -Terry

Thanks for the info! I tried to figure out some good slackline shoes this winter, but usually ended up just goin with cold feet. Never could stay out that long though.
