Im looking into getting a gibbons classic, but the 25 meter one for longer distance. If i were to use this with a fall leash, if i decided to go the height were the leash is needed would it hurt this type of slack line?

no, but it would hurt you.
Find someone to teach you how to rig highlines safely. It is not simple and you will kill yourself (or one of your friends) if you fuck up.

As Sungam pointed out, Gibbon lines aren't safe for such use. I'm not picking on them either, most off-the shelf lowline systems aren't suitable as the only thing keeping you alive.
While I can't speak for their company, here are a couple general reasons for that particular system:
2" webbing is very static causing a higher than normal peak load during a fall. That's harsh on both your anchors, and your body.
No fool proof safety lock. They can either be flopped open under a fall opening the ratchet or the take up spool can be easily overfilled preventing the safety locks from engageing that prevent free-spin.
As a correction to Sungam's comment though, the line doesn't snap, it sounds like the ratchet was pushed into freespin due to incorrect usage. I can't help but wonder, given the video posters attitude, if it was staged intentionally.

maybe browse around on this site for ratchet tie downs http://customtiedowns.com/tie-downs/. Unless of course having the word Gibbon spread all over the webbing in fancy colors is what you're really looking for!

It's crazy how many people are in the dark about the difference b/t highlining and tricklining and the use of a ratchet. People need to really spread the word so as slacklining grows people don't end up killing themselves.
