A few weeks ago, I dropped a couple of 4X6 posts in the ground 50' apart and set up my first slackline. I use it just about every night, so I like to just keep the rig up. I use a 2 ton comealong to tension the line. After pulling 5' of slack out, I attached a temporary line, and took out another 5'. After an exciting explosion of the line, I realized I had made some rigging errors, and put in some backups (one carabiner went about 75' through the air). I would like to use a better pulley system as I set it up on my own most of the time. I was thinking about getting the Slackline Brothers setup. I am also thinking about using sewn spectra slings to connect to the posts for better durability. Has anyone had any experience with the Slackline Bros system? Is there any recommended ammount of time for replacing the line itself (it is in the sun a lot)? Thanks in advance for your input.
