There was a highline at the 2007 Ouray Ice Festival, and the organizers are currently considering the idea of doing it again. I was there and it was a ton of fun. Here's a link to some photos:

The highline setup is the main reason we go to the icefest, both to watch and walk.

Sweet. I never made it to the prior events there since it was 23 hours drive away. Now that I'm in CO I'll totally be there this year.
Hopefully we can get a few lines going.

I'm pretty happy to say that Rhope is sponsoring the slacklining at this years festival and is helping to get the highline event going. I think it's going to great, we plan on having several of our lines set up all around the park for folks to try out and have fun on.
Hope to see good number of slackers out for some quality cold weather slacking.

Havn't been since '05 (first year they had a slackline?)
