Well after 3 days of effort.. I think I have the basics rolling now. I set it up between 2 trees about 15 ft apart, and the anchor points about 2 ft.. This is much easier, and for some reason, ii do much better in shoes.. I'm truly addicted, the feeling I got when I first balanced was amazing, i'm hooked.

richardvg03: You're in SD? I live in Northpark, that pic is in Balboa Park.. My biggest discovery when learning was, when I'd try to stand on the line with one foot, the oscillations wre too much. But as soon as I got my other foot on the line, it stopped shaking.. Getting on the line in one fell swoop made it much easier.. My muscles freak out at first, but once I relax, things start happening...

Honestly, I havn't tried to many things that were instantly addictive like this is... Even when I still couldn't stand on the line, I was addicted... That says something about Slacklining.. From the first time I saw it, I knew that it was something I just had to do.. I'm so happy that I bought a rig, and have jumped in the waters... I don't see myself stopping.. I think that this is going to do great things for my Skateboarding.. Slacklining is one of the best workouts I've ever done.. I love it...
