So it's the 4th.. my climbin buddies are all busy... and the gym is closed.. I can't buy sh*t for my personal gym because every lumber place in town is closed... I have 100-130holds but no bolts yet.. so i can't even play with those... So my neibor and I are ready to setup a slackline! (sounds like fun, cheaper than doing some rope jumping off the bridge 3 houses down the street) So I think I got the basics of it, and I have about 10 old BD oval beaners...never before used but have a rating of 2000kg on the side.. lol so old they didnt put the KN ratings on them. So how big of a distance is best to start out on? 30feet? How tight do I pull the line? as hard as possible

For me, setting up a shorter line made it (MUCH) easier to get the hang of it.. I set it up to around 15 feet, with 2 foot tall anchot points.that made it manageable. 30 feet will create a good amount of oscillation in the line, a shoter line swings less..
