Does anyone have numbers on the percent elongation of webbing at tension, or the stretching charicteristics/profile. I slack on 9/16 and i know its alot stretchier than 1 inch, but are there any numbers comparing the two. How about climb-spec as opposed to mill spec.... or Ultra-tape (i bet that stuff wouldn't stretch) Sorry for ranting

From what I can tell, it varies from manufacturer and sometimes I swear it varies from batch to batch and color to color. Being as it's heated up a lot ot dye it, it's possible thats where the variance comes from, dunno. At any rate, this isn't a very helpful post since I can't give you the numbers your looking for, but I can say that I've been looking for those damn elongation numbers for a couple years with no avail. My best suggestion is to email some of the manufacturers.
