i was wonering if its possible to set up a slackline w/ theuse of ratchets and other stuff, kindA LIKE DIY IF SO HOW?

It's very easy! just set up a 3:1 pully system, so you can pull it tight, then have a biner already on the tape, ready to get clipped to the anchor. take longer (getting the biner in the right place) but works just as well.
search pics on google for 3:1 pully system, it's easy to make.
