I'm really not sure what you are asking, but do a forum search for Coldclimb's article on slackline setup. Very informative.

Good luck with...whatever it is you are trying to figure out.

Magic.

Or, if you're not good at that, try: http://www.rockclimbing.com/...les/index.php?id=189

Here. I did the search FOR you. If you follow the link, there are many pictures. If you have more questions, I'm sure he (coldclimb) would't mind a PM requesting information or suggestions.

Check out coldclimb´s article; method #3 is great (best with 4 biners, works well with 3).
It takes a little practice to get the hang of the thing (in the best of cases). Try to remember to pad trees with something or you may scar them (the knot on the bowline anchor is usually the culprit).

In reply to:

That sounds like a racially-motivated lynchin' in the works...

:D

Carabiners, or biners (or even Karabiners or Krabs if you prefer.)

If you haven't bought biners yet, any and all of these systems, but especially the ellington (which is the easiest to do alone) work waaaay better with ovals. OP's a cheaper and stronger, though the BD's are better for actual climbing (but you're not worried about that because you're a safe smurf and don't use your slacking biners for climbing purposes).
