I am just wondering if anyone uses tree padding when setting up their lines, and what it does for the lines and for the trees.

Thanks,
Sean.

Darn right I do. Not too cool to NOT use it... Leave No Trace includes slacklining.

You can use branches about an 3/4-1" diameter placed vertically under the rope or webbing for padding if you find yourself without any...

i don't think you need to buy pads. seriously. you can use a multitude of things, such as foam, cardboard, old towels, bike innertubes....

Agreed. We offer the pads for those who want "everything they might need in a box" but just about anything will work to help save your webbing. Padding usually wears out anyway (not so much on our high end pads, but still), so it's nice to have a replacable source.

Boughten or not, please pad trees, it's just the right thing to do.
