Hello

I was wondering if the following setup would work, see attachement

The question is ofcourse if it will be tensionable.
maybe someone could test it?

Help is appreciated!

Nah there'd be way too much friction and not nearly enough mechanical advantage. The loop around the anchor like that will be really hard to pull against, and the MA there is only 2:1, so you wouldn't be able to get a line tight like that.

You might be able to rig a Z-pulley setup to lock off using a garda hitch, but tensioning with a garda hitch anywhere in the system will add a lot of friction. You'd want to tension it with the Z-pulleys, and then while holding that, take up slack through the garda to lock it off.

The tied off munter is an excellent plan, makes derigging a cinch. :)
