I don't think there is currently a running record on time. Frankly it'd be too easy to just walk out so far and sit down or lie down for hours and hours. Even if you put stipulations on standing and required passes / hour it'd be a very, very long and boring time for some of us. To date I've got 6 hours without touching the ground. I was over a frozen mud pit and was working a thin line (5/8") about 45 feet long set about 8 feet up. I didn't do many tricks but I did have my lunch and several snacks up there. My arms would get fatigued but then I'd just do behind the back arm folded while walking until they were good again. I was very sore the next day. Without shoes I could probably my cap at 10 hours but it would take a lot to keep me from getting bored with it. With shoes for support probably more but I'd be more likely to fall off.

Six hours???? I've never timed myself, but I do know my skateboarding and snowboarding improved tremendously after practicing on a slackline.
