Gee -- I don't know if us "great white frozen North" climbers have any experience with those attributes. Let us know what you come with, it might be educational.

In the guide-books I use, the stars mean "quality of climb". It describes the climb, not the climber.
On the other hand, steepness contributes to difficulty, so it's included in the grade.
I found your Facebook page. But where are those "symbols"? ?? ???

There are plenty of guidebooks that use this system already. Check out the new guidebooks in the New, Red, and the RockFax guidebooks for ideas.

The Las Vegas area guidebook Islands in the Sky uses symbols to denote angle, pump factor, a flying heart (never done one) etc. as well as the star system and I have found it useful and entertaining. Additional symbols giving more route info are great IMO.

The use of inflammatory images does make your point, but it does not reflect today's South. I am a Caucasian male from Florida, but I still grew up fighting against ignorance. In particular, against the ignorants (those who are ignorant) dressed in bedsheets, because they knew that they were behaving badly.

My 9th grade History teacher called Civil War the War of Northern Aggression. My 8th grade English teacher referred to a historical figure as a "damned yankee and a black Republican." I didn't understand the reference at the time.
As a White Sox fan I still despise the damned Yankees. :-)
