This is the scenario. I'm from Toronto, Ontario - looking to do a one day road trip to a North American climbing destination.

I happened upon a website on SE USA climbing areas and my question:

can you share insight into sport climbing in Arkansas this time of year, specifically Cherokee Crags or Sam's Throne areas?

Much obliged amigos

today was 52 degrees and beautifully sunny. all the snow from the last storm is gone, you may run into an icicle or two, but most are melting away. the crags are drying up wonderfully. sam's will be great. you should look into horseshoe canyon ranch also. it is the best in AR. http://gohcr.com

Thanks very much for your post. We've actually decided to give Cuba a shot. Weather is warmer, reviews are very good and being Canadian, got a good deal on the flight.

Will for sure keep Arkansas in mind, for warmer times.
