I've been climbing since I was about six or seven, but didn't really develop a passion for until I was 12. My family had recently moved to Greensboro, North Carolina. We lived at the American Hebrew Academy, a Jewish boarding school, where my dad taught. There was a very, very small climbing gym at the school, which my dad was in charge of. That gym, and the friends I made climbing in it (and other spots around GSO) were pretty much the only good thing about living there.
