why are they doing that talk to the park service or peopl living arond there and make sure hey own the land or have a liscense to do that or else like another thread will be shut down harshly

Still stinks, but now you & I can see why they are doing it. It is federal school trust land--Utah, being strapped for public school money, is "selling" what they can.

Sad day for a great place...

there is no federal school trust land....it was given to the state by the federal government; there fore the state owns it, with the legal obligation to try to make money from it, to benefit schools in Utah.

If Moe's is on SITLA land....it's toast, unless someone can figure out a way to buy it.
