The gated road leading from the Smoke Bluffs (climber's) parking lot up to the bluffs has been washed out and is closed until Hydro fixes it. Also, there is a major washout to the main valleycliff access road, so don't expect to get in that way for awhile, either. We've had 690 mm of rain (27" for you americans) so far for the month of November, and are looking at another 50 mm in an 'intense' storm predicted for this sunday, and have rain predicted until at least next sunday. Just a heads up. We may have all floated away by the time next spring comes round. On the other hand, this just might make the cliffs a little taller (and oceanfront, too).
