I bought myself a pair of La Sportiva Pythons in 40 1/2 (my street shoe is 44-43 1/2) as my second pair of shoes. I was looking for an agressive shoe but not too agressive and my friend recommended them. My friend recommended me to go down 2 1/2 - 3 sizes down because they stretch alot. Now, i've been breaking them in for the past three days and they are already stretching. My problem is that i can hardly walk because the toes are curled up in the toe box and it really hurts the top of my toes. I expected it to hurt, But not this much. When im not walking, the shoes fit snug and doesnt hurt. How do you know when they fully stretched? And are they the right size?

Welcome to the world of aggressive shoes. It sounds like they are either too tight or your feet and toes aren't conditioned yet. It's probably a combination of the two. If these are your first tight fitting/aggressive pair, they are going to hurt at such a downsize, particularly when climbing -- you are putting direct pressure on the toes and knuckles, which isn't present when standing on the ground. Did you actually try the shoes out on a wall before purchasing, or did you judge the fit by just slipping them on and walking around? If you haven't f'ed the shoe material up yet, see if you can get a refund or swap them out for a slightly larger size or a less aggressive shoe. Be sure to try it out on the wall before dropping $$$.

I think its my toes not used to the abrasion. Like i said, when its on, i can wear them snug and okay for 30-45 minutes. Only when walking and pressure is applied to the from the bottom and my toes push against the toe box. Sadly, the place i bought it from does not allow you to climb in the shoes. So i only walked in them

There is no reason to wear your shoes while you're not climbing, especially when you're walking.
