just wanted to let everyone know that climbing legend Doc Bayne has recently passed. more information will surface in the upcoming days - but i thought everyone should know that climbing has lost one of its finest.

This is truly sad. Doc was one of the great southeastern climbers in a bastion of traditionalism. His routes are a testament to boldness, control, and style. He will be missed.
