After 15 yrs of trad climbing took off 14 yrs to support kids swimming and earn a living. Now retired and trying to get back in shape and lose the excess weight. Lead my first sport route in 2005 ( 5.8+). Pictures are submitted for historical value and for the young gym rats that have no idea what kind of trad climbing used to be done in the area. Now living 7 miles from Red Rock and ticking off most of the classics under 5.10. Have lead several 11's since arriving but usually can onsight mid 10s sport and concentrate on 5.9 and under trad. Yaak Crack is best sport send and onsight of Foe. Unimpeachable Groping and Epinephrine are best Trad/mixed leads. A little update: Now at 64years old, I now spend quite a bit of time training for the 24 Hours of Horseshoe Hell each year and run up moderate trad the rest of the year. Sometimes a ropegun shows up and I get to climb things like Levitation 29, Eagle Dance, Inti Watana, or Cloud Tower.
