Started climbing sometime in 1994.
Ice, New Routing, long trad routes, Aid, Alpine slogs, alpine rock, caving,.... I love 'em all! As long as I'm getting at it I'm happy. Safety is always my main focus while I'm out on the mountain, and I only keep safe climbers as my partners. Don't care much for sport wanking or pebble wrestling these days.
To quote the words of a rockies hardman, "Let the spirit of adventure be your guide." Climb what inspires you.
BVX Pub nights are Every Wednesday night at Nick's Steak House and Pizza, Crowchild Tr. N.W., Calgary. See you there. See the BVX thread in the Canada Forum for long winded details.
"You know I once climbed a vertical pitch of snow on an expedition... but if you want my opinion, that pillar looks like it gets really really bad 10 feet above you." -Jim Elzinga, before we bailed.
