Yea, I almost had to climb with that poser clamhed at teh Red. Luckly I saw him, before he saw me and I ducked back into my rig and drove out of teh parking lot, before I had to waste my entire day listening to him spray me down about how bitchin he is.

In 1978, I tried Clever Lever in Eldorado Canyon, while Pat Ament watched me (while drinking beer and shouting beta).
In 1980, I climbed with Wolfgang Gullich for two weeks in Eldorado Canyon. He was on a mission to climb all of the 5.12s.
In 1982, I had a cool bouldering sesh with Wolfgang and John Bachar on the Camp 4 boulders.
In 1984 or so I climbed with John Sherman in Yosemite (Crack a Go-go and Separate Reality).
In 1992, I shared a belay on the Nose with Hans Florine and Peter Croft while they achieved their landmark ascent in 4:22.
In 1995, I shared a bivy up on Half Dome with Todd Skinner.
In 2006, Henry Barber came to our Quartz Mountain Gathering and although I didn't share a rope with him, I climbed nearby and yakked with him for a couple of days.

Oh, I almost forgot. Around 2004 or so I climbed with Camhead in the Wichita Mountains (Oklahoma).

Ran into Fred in August in the bugs. at 80 some years old he made the hike up to the hut look easy.
didn't climb with him (probably one of the few from what I hear) but he sure as hell impressed me on the hike in. I don't think he ever broke a sweat.
I'm hope I'm doing that good when I'm that age. Hell, I hope I just live that long.
