The Squamish Mountain Film Festival, SQUMFF 2006, will screen "University Wall", a 10-minute short film as a tribute to the 40th anniversary of the first ascent of University Wall. The film features first ascentionist, Tim Auger, recounting the climb and his days buildering at UBC. It also contains 40-year old images of the climb from Tim and fellow team member Glenn Woodsworth's collections, as well as "never-before-seen" 8mm footage of the 1960's buildering scene. The film screens on Friday, August 4th and tickets are available in Squamish at the Adventure Centre, Valhalla Pure and Climb On. In Vancouver you can tickets from Ivan at the Fringe Cafe.
