I'll have a lot of time to sharpen it, before you get the nerve to drive halfway across the country for some steep climbzing again.

If I ever climb again, that is.

That's cause some of us were out climbing the rocks.

Rumney report: Blackjack crack is really fun, even if it is way short. I'll take the 10+ OS, I guess, but seriously, only reason me or Allison could come up with to justify the grade is that NE climbers are completely clueless on crack. Very slightly overhanging, but with lots of features for feet the whole way up. In Colorado that would be 9+/10-.

Wow. Way to spray down a 20 foot boulder problem. Everything from region-based downgrading to move-specific beta, to subtle look-at-me-i'm-rad spray. In four short sentences, nonetheless!
Wanker.

Ha! Way to get butthurt cause you were stuck at home and I was out climbing!

For the rest - pretty weke flamage. How can I possibly be spraying on sending a short moderate crack?

GO

oh, you can spray about a short moderate boulder problem, too. I'll teach you how... Someday.

I think the key is to let others spray on my behalf: My buddy Mike was taking pics the day I roped up for the featherbagged boulder problem. It seems a pic he took of me is being featured on Climbing Mag's site. Woo!

I thought most countries frowned upon people coming in who didn't have a return flight home.

So I went to yoga last night for the first time in maybe a month. I am tight and sore in so many ways! Should have kept up the yoga when I started ramping up my training for IWC, but the day my training partner wanted to meet was the same day of the yoga class, so you know....

anyway, he decided Thursdays worked better for him, so now I can get back to class and hopefully loosen up!

I also figured out how to go from crow pose into head stand, so that was kinda fun. Not that hard once you figure out the balance point, but it looks impressive!

'Course you do. But you got me all wrong, Jack. I'm a mediocre climber, probably always will be, and I'm definitely not trying to spray about climbing 5.10! How is that sprayworthy? I was trying (but, apparently, failing) to say I was having a hard time understanding the grade on the route. Though Epoch, at least, understood and agreed with me.

Wow, okay, if you didn't get it either, then I totally failzed.

Yeah, I thought it was a cool climb, and really had fun on it, despite it being short. But I was surprised by how it felt, and thought a grade being so far off, and why it was like that, would be discussion-worthy. The thought didn't cross my mind that 5.10 would be considered spraying.

I did gloat about getting to climb while Doc had to sit home and work, though!

Woo!

Has Doc shot hisself in the face yet?

Gunna has to go with teh doc on this won...

Yer a sprayer alrite, a pathetic little number dropping poser boy. Who just kan't shut teh fuk up about how bitchin ewe think ewe are.

Ewe make me wunt to puke!!!1

'Course you do. But you got me all wrong, Jack. I'm a mediocre climber, probably always will be, and I'm definitely not trying to spray about climbing 5.10! How is that sprayworthy? I was trying (but, apparently, failing) to say I was having a hard time understanding the grade on the route. Though Epoch, at least, understood and agreed with me.

I'll tell you the truth - anything cool that I may think I've actually accomplished - you lot would be the last I'd tell about it.

I just mention the pic in the mag because I like to see Doc squirm. If he wasn't such a douche, I wouldn't bother.

You think I actually give a fuck about you?

No. Why should you, you don't know me. You do seem to get pretty riled up about me, though. I doubt that has anything to do with me, per se, as much as it does with the fact that I'm still posting here. But if you actually find me so loathsome, then I'm flattered, I guess you really do care!

GO

Awww, BET spat! There hasn't been one since... since Jake left? Was that the last one?

And anyway, I thought the pic was cool. Tongue

I also figured out how to go from crow pose into head stand, so that was kinda fun. Not that hard once you figure out the balance point, but it looks impressive!

Sure does!

Heffe's been on a steady rotation of climbing, yoga, and CrossFit for the past few months. It kinda helps that the yoga is at the climbing gym, and is taught by this couple of climber/yogis (well, taught by the female part of the couple, but the guy is ALSO a super-awesome yogi, and Heffe adores them, he's dragged me to their class which is, like, 45minutes drive for me before. And don't get me wrong, they are really good. I just can't justify 1.5 hours of driving for 1hr class...)

Anyway, can't say that this regimen is improving his climbing, but it sure as hell is improving the already-very-nicely-toned muscles quite nicely. Tongue And he says the flexibility has really improved for him, too.

You flatter yourself. Insulting you is nothing more than a pleasant diversion in my life, a fun break from my daily routine. As I derive pleasure from the suffering of others, instilling a sense of self-doubt in you would be great, but I really lose no sleep either way.
Wanker.

moar training last night. Tired and sore today. Seeing improvements though.

Would like to get training in both Sat and Sun this week, but I'm only going to get Sunday in if I'm lucky.

I thought most countries frowned upon people coming in who didn't have a return flight home.

I have a return flight, I just didn't have an intermediate flight to make my return flight. Then they all filled up which was unexpected. So we hit another spot.

I am sure you are disappointed. More traveling. More climbing. Horrible!
