Anyone is welcome for 3 Days of Bouldering, Camping and general Carousing as we rc.commers take over Fontainebleau for the weekend! February Friction is awesome!! Please post up if you are definitely coming, so we have a count and can organize everybody for rides, cars, extra tents and stuff! :D We are meeting at the Grand Duc cafe on Friday the 24th at midnight... see you there! :D Ciao, Taz

Okay, okay... picky! I added the dates  Heiko, you HAVE to come!!! Bring your friend, you know we can pick you up... or at least her  Daniel - extra sleeping bag is arranged for you, so no worries about it. Just bring lots of warm clothes! ...Anybody else need us to bring stuff? I know some folks are flying low-fare carriers and the weight limits suck so don't be shy, we have loads of gear! So far we are bringing: 2 tents (in case we decide NOT to be wusses and sleep at Etap...unlikely) 3 stoves (see above) 3 sleeping bags (because Etap is cold anyway) 1-2 crashpads (Depending on what I get for Valentines Day... I'm actually voting crashpad over non-edible engagement ring. Sick.)

In reply to: Daniel - extra sleeping bag is arranged for you, so no worries about it. Just bring lots of warm clothes! No need to bring an extra sleeping bag. I'm pretty much covered as long as I find a place in a tent. Warm clothes I got. What was appropriate for Berlin this winter should make it in Fonti too :D
In reply to: (Depending on what I get for Valentines Day... I'm actually voting crashpad over non-edible engagement ring. Sick.) How about spray paintig a nice diamond ring on the crash pad? The story about the edible one was soooo sweet... - Daniel

Sorry guys... :( I checked all options. The weekend would cost me at least €300, that's too much for two days and way more than I can spend right now anyway. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine.

Driving from Trento is 10hrs... unreachable for a Sat/Sun weekend (probably wouldn't even drive 10hrs for a whole week!). Bleau just doesn't make a lot of sense for me, although I love it. I know it's not the same without me , but this time I can't.

pff i drive around 7-8 to go to switzerland for the w-end, and it's not that bad at all, a good thermos of tea - a good road companion and you are all set...especially when you have to meet a crowd like that there...then you can always take a friday or a monday off by becoming very ill and making it a very long 3-day adventure  (last attempt at motivation).

Hey UASUN- do you know for sure yet if you are coming down? If so, question: can you drive? Paolo and I have 2 cars with maximum: 6 passengers. BUT with luggage, bouldering pads, tents, etc... it will be a tight fit. Any chance you can squeeze a few into your car? :D -Taz

Ashley, no sweat about the climbing. Wait until you see the hangover show: sweating, shaking, swearing, whining, scared little people that drop off of Fb1s like empty chalk-balls. It's the usual thing... locations may chance, the hangover show stays. It's a tradition. We practice that in order to have an excuse for our miserable performance, and to feel better and stronger next time.
