We're excited to announce the start of the 2011 Chicks Rock! season with our first clinic to be held March 31 – April 3 at Red Rock Canyon, Nevada, with the option for an additional day of multi-pitch instruction and climbing April 4.
The three day women-only Chicks Rock! intensive climbing clinic allows women to focus on improving their climbing skills in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
Climbers of all levels are welcome to attend, with five different clinic levels to choose from. The addition of an optional multi-pitch day gives Chicks the opportunity to climb some long routes on the beautiful red desert sandstone in a 2-to-1 ratio with our Girly Guides. This program is presented through the American Alpine Institute, and will be headed by Kitty Calhoun and Dawn Glanc, who are both AAI and Chicks Climbing guides.

For those who can’t make it out to Nevada, we have plenty more rock climbing to do in 2011 including a stop in Devil’s Lake, Wisc. July 29 - Aug. 1, Keene Valley, Adirondancks Aug. 19-21, and West Virginia’s New River Gorge, Sept. 23-25.
