I'm coming for at least part of the time, like Sat, Sun, and maybe Mon. Let me know if you need local-ish help.

I would love to come up there for the weekend if I could catch a ride from SLC. I would fly in there on Tuesday visit with the folks for a day or two and cruise up there at someone else's discretion.

monty - I'd be willing to give you a ride from SLC. I'm not quite sure how the logistics will go. There are quite a few people going up from Salt Lake, so I presume there will be some pooling of cars going on. I'm sure we can fit you in somewheres. I am planning on driving up Wednesday (the 2nd) afternoon and getting settled in that evening so I can be ready to climb Thursday morning. Then I'll be heading home most likely Sunday some time. Litedawg - It'll be good to see you again. Haven't talked to you since the SL gathering.

Hey I am Back from the Tetons. It was great. Two Summits. Mt Moran and the Grand. k9rocko and I had a blast. Any way back to the topic. Tony, We can do the pre-plan in a day or an overnight either way will work. It only takes me 2 hours to drive there from my house, so I dont mind a day trip. If we go on a week end for an overnighter all of the camp sites may be reserved. Just a thought. John

Well, it looks like I'll be able to make it up to the City this weekend to check out campsites. A buddy of mine wanted to go camping this weekend so I figure we'll head up there and kill two birds with one stone. He's not much of a climber but if I can get him to bring his harness and shoes, maybe I can even kill three birds and get some climbing in as well !! So, I'll post my thoughts and impressions next week and then we can make some reservations. It looks like the group is growing ... kick @$$! See you all soon ... -Tony

I am going to do my best to attend, and I am looking at making the 450-mile journey from Montana on Wednesday night, and head back up north on Sunday. Three days of climbing, woohoo! Hopefully others from this area will want to go and help with gas money and the driving.

Is the City going to be open in October? It was just recently made a National Reserve and it may close the week after Labor Day.

Thanks Knate, I thought this place was allready a NR. I believe the gates to the upper areas are shut when the road is snowed in. That can happen in Oct. Are you back yet Tony?
