Hey everybody.

Sorry about leaving the camping plans in the air. I've been really busy with school and work, and haven't been on the site much lately. I have two considerations.

1)It's going to be next to impossible to get anything near an accurate gauge as to how many people will be there and when.

And,

2)It's been mentioned that as we are going in October it's highly doubtful there will be much competition for campsites.

That being said, I think we'll be fine if we sort of fend for ourselves and those in the groups we are attending with. If anybody wants to make reservations, the phone number to do so as well price info is on page 1 of this thread.

I'm still planning on driving up on Wednesday the 2nd, so if anybody wants to hitch a ride I still have room for one more. I'll be leaving in the afternoon some time, not 100% sure on the time yet.

I think there is going to be a lot of people there, more than I ever expected. It should be a great time.

Can't wait to see those I haven't seen for some time, and to meet those that I've never seen before at all.

Anyone interested in a ride up please send a PM and we'll work it out from there.

Yeaahow~!

So, like we are all just going to go and hopefully run into each other? The City is a big place! More than likely I won'tmeet anyone if we don't have a designated meeting area. I would like to meet all 50 some odd of ya. Even better to climb with ya! I can only stay one night so I don't have a few days to try and find everybody.

Maybe we should all wear name tags that say "Hi my name is......from RC.com"

Yeah Right!!!!!!

Anyways...I be if I don't get to meet any of you while I'm there.

My suggestion is if you want to hook up with other climbers is check the kiosk at Bath Rock. Find out were everone is camping and climbing and post were you will be. I am sure it wont be a problem finding partners. I always find new ones there.

Perhaps a description of the vehicles people will be driving would help as well.

I will be driving my 1984 Land Cruiser, red w/ bike rack, and RC.com stickers.

I think I can make this! I'd like to carpool with someone in the Denver area. Plus, I have no gear and probably won't have a partner, well, I might have a rack by then , who knows. So if I don't have a rack or partner, I'm assuming its still cool to come and that there will probably be others in the same boat, right?

Bring Warm Clothes
I was at the city this weekend, and it was Chilly in the evenings, and pretty nippy at night.

Depending on which side of the rock you are climbing, you can get cooked, or freeze your butt.

See you guys there!!!

I am most likely going to be there. Has anyone thought about reserving the group campsites up at the top of the city by the decadent wall? Probably lots of room for lots of roudy climbers up there and climbing right out of camp.

I called yesterday and reserved a single campsite, site #29. I asked about the group sites and she said they where both reserved that weekend. She did'nt know if either one was reserved for rc.com gathering or not. Hopefully, my site is close to some of you guys and gals. If anyone has reserved a site please post it, just trying to figure out where everyone is staying. Thanks!!

I think posting bulletins on the Kiosk is the best idea.

I'm planning on camping somewhere in the area of campsite 19, so Corey I won't be too far from you.

I'll be in a silver Subaru Forester with Utah plates, the ones with delicate arch on them.

Tony, This is John, how long are you going to be there? I have some day care issues that just came up and I can only come up on Mon or Tue. I will bring my daughter so I can only do single pitches. She will also get on the rock as well. She started to TR this year and she loves it!! John
