Hey everyone, if you may recall my husband, Nathan Kutcher (aka - chossmonkey) won the Ouray Ice Fest mixed climbing competition in 2012. He has spent the last two seasons since then competing in the Ice Climbing World Cup. This year, I will also be competing in 3 or the 6 comps, while Nathan is competing in all 6. This is an expensive endeavor. We feel passionate about comp climbing, and with last years appearance as a demonstration sport in the Olympics we hope that it will become a full Olympic sport in future games. Even if you don't want to support us, please read our write up on the sport in my Go Fund Me link and I would love to answer any questions. Thanks! edited because of new RC.com policy.

You're an able-bodied white heteronormative set of wankers who are taking attention away from the real problems! #whiteprivilege #climbersareracist [sorry, unless you want to spoon with a hundred pound dog on my couch, all I can do is hopefully climb a bunch and do the not-twenty-below dance] #controversy

I added a couple of blog posts this week about my training with my friend Neil on his home wall (another Canadian who is doing a few WC events). http://mixedprogression.wordpress.com/2014/11/ I have a little training well at my apartment, hopefully I'll add another post this week about training on two sheets of 4'x8' plywood. It's boring as heck, but I'm motivated!
