Alright, Darkside has volunteered to pick me up that case of canadian beer. Only problem is that he leaves sunday and i don't get there till wednesday. Can I find any volunteers to hook him up with the $30 for the case till i get there (looking at anne :) ) I would most appreciate it, thanks! <=glen=>

Little help here?? My climbing partner's brother will be joining us, but is a newbie w/o shoes. He's got feet like Sasquach, so neither of us has a pair of shoes he can squeeze into. Can someone bring an extra pair of size 10, 10.5 or 11 climbing shoes? We'd really appreciate any help you folks can offer. We'll be there tomorrow evening and looking to climb on Saturday and Sunday. Thanks. Mick

I still have my 1st pair of shoes, an old pair of One sport lace up boots. They are 11's I think. They are in need of a resole but will do the trick for this weekend. Find me tomorrow evening if you dont luck out on anything better.

Lookin good after I just spent 260.00 on a new water pump for the balzer. Glad it went now instead of half way there. Anne the secret weapon worked perfect last night. The boys at work were very impressed. See you all saturday afternoon. That beer sounds awesome. C U L8R,,,,,

Mick i think i have a pair of red chilli salsas that are 11 or 12s ... hmm i think 12s .... can he fit into those? i will bring them along, just in case. look for the poorly equipped virginian in a tent w/a kelty tioga sold in (seriously) 1971... haha. sh*t i'm sweet sometimes. leaving tomorrow at 6 or 7 am and i think i found a great route from 95 here so i will try that instead of going 33 which runs right next to my house. i... hope i don't get lost. see you all there! johnnyK

Thanks guys for the help on the shoes. I'll look some of you up when we get there to see what will work for him. I figured everybody would be bringing their extra junk (at least if the Salt Lake Gathering was any guide - there were 50 ropes, 75 pairs of shoes, etc. for 45 people :D). Just wanted to throw it out there in case somebody had some extras and hadn't planned on bringing them. Thanks again guys, see you all soon! Mick

I just wanted to let everyone know that today was the last day to get the sale price of the $67.50 for your Via Ferrata pass. Now the price is $75, so you can pay at the door or u can still send a check. Thanks guy! Hope to see you soon! Gracie

Its still going strong. There were about 20 people still there when I left and 2 more arrived as I was in the parking lot. I just finished uploading some pics to an album I made called "NRP Gathering first weekend" wich I will link to when they are looked over by rc.com staff. The weather on saturday was 60 and sunny and I got a burn on my back from climbing on the east fin in the morning sun. Sunday I took 12 people caving out near Franklin and we had a blast. I will be back down thursday night and will be more than happy to lead another caving trip before sunday. With all those foreign accents, I think we were outnumbered by Canadians this weekend.
