Well, I couldn't get anyone to sit to through the whole thing voluntarily, so it may have been from the rope burns after I tied them to their chairs. But I like to think that they were touched.

shadow puppet cabaret. you *must* do this at the gathering! I'll be glad to hold a sheet against the light of the campfire for you to perform behind, Erica your performance will be second to none. well, except maybe Crackaddict's jaw-dropping feats of slacklining! Somebody give Crazygrl a ride!! We need as many CRAZY GIRLZ as possible, I would hate to be the only one! oh, and might I add, it's RAINING right now! YAY!!!

AAAAAAAAAAH!!! WEEEEEEEEEEE! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! the gathering is SO DEFINITELY ON, because it is OFFICIAL: we've got our mountains back! Coconino NF is set to reopen at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 20!!!!!!!! http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/coconino/ http://www.rockclimbing.com/forums/viewtopic.php?topic=12928&forum=23 AND.... tomorrow morning at 8 a.m., Coronado NF reopens! MT. LEMMON!!!!!!!!!! and all other sundry Tucson crags http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/coronado/news/0702_closure_lifted.htm FWIW, Apache Sitgreaves NF is also open, is there any climbing there? Dunno about Kaibab NF (the Forks) or Prescott NF, but I am sure those will come soon too, if they haven't already *breathes into paper bag* ~Hillary

totally! I've been on a sugar high for the past 24 hours.. except for climbing Meg, a few days ago, in my funk for not having local crags, I nabbed a Rifle guidebook to give myself some sweet dreams. I would still be totally stoked to visit! Erica, let's go!!! Doki, GO BUY YOUR PLANE TICKET NOW!!! Pete... *passes the paper bag* now, is that because you need to barf, because you want to chill me out, or because you're feeling the call of nature?

I can bring a couple cases of beer, but I hope ya'll like Busch (I'm forced to down grade my quality of beer, blame my boss for not giving me a raise). Who's bringing the graham crackers, marshmellows, and chocolate? I haven't had a good smore since I was a kid. [ This Message was edited by: hawk527 on 2002-08-10 21:42 ]
