Phil says he usually climbs at Vic Ranges but I haven't seen you there lately mate! Apart from that brief visit last week.... You traing on different nights now? You can't miss him out at Werribee, listen for the burps, if I'm there I'll be the one with the louder burps puttin' him to shame.... and by a girl, none-the-less.

The most vital peice of equipment when going to Werribee is your helmet. Phil nearly clocked me with one when he was up top setting belay!

ok at this stage im thinking maybe mid september?? cant be too late, has to be before the 20th(september) . but it cant be before the 30th of august so anytime that these dates suit all of u, we just gotta organise it, im thinking prob vic ranges, bcoz we can all go there after work, school etc etc. then maybe weribee when the weather is a little more predictable, say late october or november. i dont know, anyways, ideas, meeting nights, whatever. email me... or pm me

hey, i didn't realise that there were so many rc.com amigos from melbourne! i'm currently finishing year 12, and i plan to defer from uni next year... my main reason is to go climbing. i desperately want to improve my climbing... and there is no better way than to get out there i guess. i'm not too experienced, but i have climbed at both araps and the gramps before. i'd also like to learn to lead one of these days. i have my own harness, shoes, chalk bag, and i'm about to buy a belay device and a helmet. if any of you guys have any advice, can help me or know someone who can help me, please don't hesistate to PM me. 2003 is my big year... any help is appreciated. i have to get out there! thanks, -ben
