Also, I work at EMS so I have access to all the rental gear. Are we all set on tents and such? Is everyone pretty much taking an 'everyone for themselves' approach to food and stoves and cooking and all that, or do we want to try and team up and plan stuff out so there's not 19 stoves.

Here ya go Bro! Here is the phone number for those who are calling ahead; (603) 786-2330, after 4 PM and ask for Joanne. Tom informed me that there will be more then enough room! I would suggest doing so. I don't know if the rules are posted or if you are told of them when you arrive.

My fisr answer was meant to be serious, although I'm not sure. I really feel like I remember it being $7, but my brain doesn't have a shing service record.

I enjoy climbing with my GF, but I feel bad making her a belay slave on something she can't climb. That thought is very nice...you know I hate not being able to do the climbs that everyone else is doing and just being a slave to the ground!

Ok I am not getting the hang of this reply thing, but whatever. I am Epoch's GF. Very excite to make it for "Tard Farday". Really excited to get some bigger outdoor climbs in and meet other women. Wonderwoman sounds and looks like a real cool chick and same with Carabiner96. Excited to meet you all.

Thanks for the welcome Jammer. I am totally excited to meet some women. I only snowboard with men and know that your gender does things totally different then us. Though I learned alot from the manfolk I would to learn some climbing ways from a chick. i am 5 foot period...Epoch knows I can jump the hell out of some stuff in the gym, but I beat myself doing it!

chris1981 - My GF Allison will be coming up with me. By the way, she's originally from Maine, too! Anyway, let's hear it for women climbers, woo hoo! Look forward to meeting you, and seeing everyone else up there, too. We'll plan to get there Friday evening. GO

This is correct. The women climbing scene in our area is nearly non-existent. It would be awesome for chris to meet and be able to climb with other women. In the meantime if you are not going to be using your belay slave, could I borrow her for the day? Mine is at home barefoot and preggers.

You know when you go to the gym and there's that one guy who is always there... the one that is making a lot of grunting and groaning noises and when you look over you see that he is really only lifting a small amount of weight. Well, that is me, only the rock climbing version. This year I have been working on my Gaelic expletives, so I can add some really cool sounding swears while I grunt. To clarify that...I'm not really a climber, I'm more of a poser. However I'll gladly give you a safe belay in return for a bottle of quality beverage. Quit trying to steal my belayer.

Your out of luck on the long nail thing here as well. I cut mine to avoid breakage when climbing...haven't had any for month except while letting the elbow rest!

Good luck with that. I think that the crossing is either going to go two ways... 1) The river is swollen from the rains and we will either have to form a chain to cross it; send a 45 line across; or find someone nuts enough to swim it to set up a tyrolean. 2) The water level will be extremely low and we'll all have fretted about nothing. Though someone's going to slip - c'mon it's bound to happen.
