lagarita wrote: I definitely want to go... My wife and I are making flight hotel and car arrangments as I type. It seems a lot of the clinics that I want to take are already full. Is there a lot to do besides the clinics? I may just get the festival pass for my first time. Is anyone else going from the northeast area? Hope to see ya all there. Sean One thing that has happened in the past with the Rendezvous is that those who only come to the evening festivities find many of the long classic routes in the canyons uncroweded. This is an amazing find anytime in March, but even more amazing due to the fact that so many climbers are visiting the canyon that weekend. The clinics -- which run about four hours -- cut deeply into a climber's ability to get out all day. This equals a lack of lines on popular long routes! If you don't want to get out into the hills, there are tons of events at Spring Mountain Ranch during the Rendezvous. Lots of competitions, slideshows, and games... In other words, the answer is yes, there are a lot of other things to do aside from clinics. Jason
