We've already got a large group of people who have mostly never met, climbing routes they've never climbing in most likely rain, with a gnar gnar approach. The stage is set. All we need is a massive breakdown in communications. Mr. Red T Leader. Over and out!

wonderwoman wrote: Unfortunately I won't be there in time to eat with you all on Friday. But my vote goes to PHOP on Saturday. Good beer and a pool table. Plus, they renovated and made the place real classy! There is even soap in the ladies room now! What's PHOP? Regardless, this sounds good to me. Anyway, even without eats on Friday night, I look forward to meeting up with folks Friday evening to figure out who wants to go where on Saturday. GO

It'll be even better if PHOP doesn't stand for anything. Just PHOP. If it stands for something, that'll be too bad.

It's 50% of the trip! Rumney Ruckus. Let's break it down. First word is Rumney: A location in NH where climbing takes place. Second word, Ruckus: Jubilant mayhem brought on by intense periods of responsible drinking. Without the beer, we'd just be the Rumney Explorers Club.

Ok ~ I am in ~ even if I will be out numbered by the guys . I am sure i can find something easy to climb in Rumney . I have one more month to kill in Maine and want to get out and climb some more this month at camden . But this sounds like a good place to start my eastern seaboard climbing experience. Danielle

wonderwoman wrote: robbovius wrote: ...and unfortunately, I - Mr. "Epic-Waiting-to Happen" - am gonna miss the fabulous crashing and burning. damn! What's your excuse? Let's hear it! well two reasons, really: 1. this is my GF's birthday weekend. she doesn't climb, though we've hiked and biked together. she's expressed a small interest in trying it out (and serendipitously a pair of unclaimed foundling shoes I have happen to fit her), but I'm gonna let her come it herself, y'know? climbing is my thing, not hers. but ultimately, its her B-day weekend, so she gets to pick what we're gonna do. 2. well before the current ruckus was firmed up, I commited to running the sound for the Milford Performing Arts Center production of Peter Pan, the performances are friday thru sunday. I have an apprentice/helper who's gonna rrun the show saturday night and suinday matinee, so that Pam and I can maximise our contiguous weekend time. and that's the scoop. I will be heading up to the pemigewasset region before my summer guitar lesson schedule starts up again though, so I'll be expecting plenty of trail updates from the crawford notch epic crew.
