Actually, a look at NOAA's website confirms the shitty weather prospects:
In reply to: Friday: Mostly sunny. Light and variable winds becoming southwest up to 15 mph in the afternoon. Highs 67 to 75. Friday night: Mostly clear in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. Lows 31 to 39. Saturday: Partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain. Cooler. Highs 61 to 69. Saturday night: Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of rain. Lows 37 to 45. Sunday: Partly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of rain. Cooler. Highs 53 to 61. Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain. Lows 35 to 43. Columbus day: Partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain. Highs 53 to 61. Monday night: Mostly clear with a 20 percent chance of rain. Lows 34 to 42. I'm not driving up there with the wife, kid, and dog to listen to them complain about being soggy and cold. I'm all for post-poning this one weekend, but I have no idea how many people can/cannot change their schedules at this point. Your thoughts? Ed

So I'm thinking I may not go... weather in J-tree is gonna be good. I'll let you all know sometime soon if I'm gonna make it.

How about everyone else? Is everyone going to go and just risk the weather?

In reply to: How about everyone else? Is everyone going to go and just risk the weather? I'm out. I feel no need to drive up and back in two days, all for no climbing. Next time, perhaps.

 Both the Jules are not in?!!! Damn, Jules, I thought you could at least take over for us. Hey, it is a bummer and all that the weather is going to suck, but I just scheduled time out of my work schedule to be down there in November. The 21st in fact. Does anyone who cannot make it this time want to meet down there then? I do need to climb Humphreys first, but once done -- we can meet up to rock climb. Let me know. Sorry about this trip. I will catch up with ya'all again. Cheers and out! Jules #1 (I'm older)

Weathers not looking to hot or even warm. I did pick up a zero degree sleeping bag today, but my tent is real cheap and might leak in the rain? I would be up for meeting in a later date if the group decides not to meet this weekend. I have a M-F job so im available any weekend. Really was looking forward to this weekend with hopes of sun, camping, and a little drink. I will check back to see what every ones final status/thoughts are....and go from there. Edit: just saw the post for the other thread after posting..will check it out

In reply to: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were climbable all day long. bwahaha. -Jay I know. But I swear the NWS was calling for doom and gloom this weekend. I wasn't trying to chase anybody away! But yeah, it was gorgeous all weekend, even the overcast day at the Forks. At least the lighting was good. http://www.rockclimbing.com/...p.cgi?Detailed=62522 Go Anna Go!

Pisses me off. Even on Thursday, the forecast was looking silly cold and wet. I'm sure the wife and kid wouldn't have had much fun, but it looks like it was perfect for climbing. Sorry I missed out. Oh -- also turns out I didn't have today off for the holiday! Oops. That coulda turned out bad. hehehe. How about this weekend, hosers!? Ed

In reply to: How about this weekend, hosers!? That would be nice. If Kole can swing it, maybe I'll even get to check out some hidden basalt gems up near Sedona, or at least throw myself on some new-to-me Forks despos. Maybe sweeten the deal with a hotel for the wife and kid? A lot of hotels are cool with pets too... maybe you shouldn't say "young Rottweiler" though ;)
