So I am rapping down Ecstasy Junior at the conclusion of a splendid weekend of climbing at Seneca and who should look up at me but the ubiquitous Havier. I mean this guy is everywhere! Anyhow, it reminded me to break into this happy thread to let you know that at this point unlikely to join the crew for C-day. So, you guys can sleep in past nine without getting rousted this trip--at least not by me. Have fun. Be safe.

i'll be there. arrive late 7th, climb 8th and 9th.
might even bring some hotness from clemson with me. [chickys, no boys thus far.]
should be damn interesting. [roger just told me last weeken that that the 8th.9th is columbus day weekend.

Kinda funny how "pick up a piece each paycheck" gets out of hand. I'm up to a green and red alien, a yellow being shipped to my local store, and another red alien and a #1 C4 on it's way here now from moosehead, whch should be here before next weekend. Bridge anyone?

Sure, Bridge sounds good on Saturday if you want katie...I talked to steve when he stopped by today and he said he's probably going too(though I guess that depends on you), so that will give us a decent rack if we combine. I'm going to call Waterstone tomorrow too and see if they have any Yellow aliens since it doesn't look like BRO can get them any time soon.
DD, what are you doing on Friday? I can probably get there pretty much any time Friday since I don't think anyone else is coming with me and my class isn't too important, so I'd definitely like to get some climbing in then if you'd like the company. Do you guys know what you're doing yet? Or do you have a cell phone with service at the Gorge so I can call and see where you are when I'm arriving?

I will probably be at the bridge on Friday as it won't be crowded. Look for my truck and if it is there, I am there.
Remember, it is going to be chilly at night and I am coming up from FL so I don't have a truck full of wood this time. If everyone brings a little bundle, we should be good.

noooo, i don't want it to be cold! weather.com is saying it will be in the 30s at night. yuck.
also talking about rain on friday. double yuck.
everyone do a sun dance or something of the sorts
but yea joe, bridge on saturday would be awesome, i'd like to get on jaws again ... and whatever else. hopefully i'll be up there for part of sunday too, but then we'd lose steve's rack ... we'll figure something out.

Hello.... McFly...... Believe me, there are plenty of racks that will be lurking around. Damon and I each have enough to do Jaws seperately, but since we always climb together, I think that we will all be good as far as pro goes.

there's a chance that i, and a couple others (clausti, remember kasia?), might come to the New since it's a 3 day weekend (the Red will be packed as it's Columbus Day weekend, Rocktoberfest, and Canadian Thanksgiving) and the drive won't be as bad (versus driving 10 hours for only a 2 day w/e).
what's the easiest/best way of finding/meeting up with people? i haven't read this whole thread but from other threads i've picked up on 'look for large fires at Rodger's.' is that all?

If you show up at Rogers, I(along with others I'm sure) would recognize you. I didn't actually introduce myself at Hound Ears, but I'm the guy from Blacksburg that was climbing/riding with Phil and Jay at Grandmother on Sunday, and I think I was spotting you when you did Decepticon.

I checked weather.com and it is looking like possible rain (30%) on friday but not as cold (40's) at night pretty much all weekend. No other big rain days so looks like we might just be in luck. Leaving tonight from FL to head that way. Will be set up at Roger's by dark tomorrow. Hope everyone has safe travels and we see you soon!

There is room for plenty and since it sections off into three rooms, we might allow a couple others to share, but they can't smell! Although Daniela won't be there until Saturday anyway.... guess I"ll have to find another snuggle bunny for thursday and friday nights....

That was freaking hilarious! I really loved how that couple froze in mid-action when the lights hit.... talk about a deer in the headlights! At least mischief8 and I had the courtsey to keep the noise down! Gag balls do come in handy at times!
