In reply to: In reply to: What's the nearest airport to seneca rocks and how far is it from the airport? BWI (Balt. - Wash) depending on your arrival time you may be able to coordinate with others for a ride. do you know your plans yet? If for a weekend (long weekend) only it seems there will be more airport ride options on the second weekend (Easter). Actually Pittsburgh may be closer, then it's a straight shot down I-79... Also, there is a small commuter airport in Beckley.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm so used to Pitt being the point of reference, and I also know all of the direct shortcuts around that area, since I lived and worked in WV as a river guide for a few years... I can make it from Akron to Seneca in 5 hours!

Sorry for the long absences kids... but someone has to build all those new CVS Pharmacies, Wallie Worlds, Food Tigers, Safeways, and assorted other shops filling all our strip malls and turning the worlds of retail on its axis.... Guess who got elected for the best and brightes of those tasks? Currently shuttling between Richmond, D.C., and the little corner of the Shenandoah Valley I call home... also crossing the hill into WVA every chance I get.... was at Franklin last weekend... where was everyone..... it was only 32 degrees, but the sun was warm and the rock was nicely freeze-dried. Anyways.... I'm still in... might have to cut this kind of close.... got an invite to the PBC and am still trying to work out the logistics to do both... so much climbing, and only four dimensions to work in.... Good to see so many familiar names again... hoping to share a breakfast burrito with you all soon.. Mike/Ronin

The way things are looking on my end, I may very well be able to join ya'll for the 2nd week (or parts of it). I casually mentioned this to my wife the other night, and she was cool with it, if I don't have a job by then. On the flip side, I may contact a buddy in the area that I used to work for, and see if he could use some help for a few weeks. That would give me $$$, and I would be working in Ohiopyle, PA again... :P If for some reason I do get a job before then, I'll attempt to beg off the week, as a condition of employment!
